Handling
Prevention
is certainly the key when it comes to manual handling, with more
and more businesses undertaking training in this area to avoid staff
injury and absenteeism.
The
courses assist delegates in identifying situations where manual
handling is absolutely necessary, and provides the skills and knowledge
required to perform manual lifting and handling operations competently
and safely, with increased environmental awareness. Course training
will include after a theory test and general course debrief.
Duration:
½ Day maximum of 6 delegates.

information contained on this course is based on the Manual Handling
Operations Regulations 1992, amended 2002.

order to minimise manual handling requirements, considering in turn:

completed the assessment, delegates will be taught the correct manual
