Each year many accidents occur involving lifting
equipment and associated slinging applications. Some of these are
fatal, and in many cases accidents can be attributed to lack of
formal training. It therefore follows that to ensure safe systems
of work the first step must be training, the second is for the operators
to put their training into practice at all times, developing safe
working practices.
