LOLER LEGISLATION

According to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998, lifting equipment and lifting accessories must receive a ‘Thorough Examination’ by a competent person typically every 6 or 12 months. This includes beam clamps and trolleys, shackles, wire rope slings and lifting and pulling machines. ETDL courses can give you a greater understanding of key principles and criteria to ensure your equipment is safe.

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME

The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the examination of in-service lifting equipment as required by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). Additionally, our lifting gear examination training reviews the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and any other relevant legislation. It also looks at the documentation required, and various inspection techniques used. Please be aware that operator will need to have a minimum of 12 month’s relevant industry experience. We recommend a 2 day course.
